To help us deliver our medical image analysis solutions to large clinical trials we are hiring an experienced Azure Developer (Full Stack) in a full-time capacity.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To be a hands-on engineer delivering technical solutions and driving development of web applications and RESTful APIs.
  • Collaborating on troubleshooting issues and providing possible workarounds and solutions in a timely manner.
  • Active participation in team and project meetings.
  • Owning improvements to the codebase and suitable addressing of technical debt.
  • Being a key member of a self-organizing Agile team and a participant in Agile ceremonies.
  • Practicing good engineering and upholding high coding standards in yourself and others.
  • Advocating transparency and the sharing of knowledge across the organisation.
  • Must be able to manage time effectively to achieve sprint goal targets
  • Must be able to communicate clearly and raise any issues quickly


Qualifications and skills required for the role:

Essential

  • A full stack developer to Design, develop and implement cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure environments using .NET with C#
  • Practical working experience of App Service, Functions, Durable Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, SQL, Azure Storage, Azure Cache for Redis, APIM, AD B2C/Oauth2, Azure DevOps and Pipelines using YAML
  • Proficient in TDD and BDD approaches
  • Working knowledge of UI Framework using ReactJS
  • Experienced with Azure DevOps
  • A good understanding of Azure Synapse Analytics/ Data Factory including the creation of Synapse Pipelines
  • Experienced with Code Repository Management (e.g. GIT, Pull requests, branching, merging)
  • Experienced in microservices
  • Agile experience (SCRUM/Kanban)
  • Degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent – High attainment (2.1 minimum), or exceptional candidate.
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Analytical, results focused with excellent problem-solving ability
  • Pro-active and adaptable team player with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to prioritise workloads and requirements
  • Strong growth mindset and work ethic
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English
